Often, after multiple pregnancies or significant weight loss, the abdominal muscles become very weak, and the skin on the stomach becomes excessively stretched. Recovery:The drains are usually removed after 2-3 days, and the threads gradually between the 10th and 14th day. After the operation, it is necessary to wear a tight elastic belt for about a month, as well as refraining from major physical efforts during that period. Scars are permanent, but fade over time and become discrete.

Rare complications: Swelling of the abdominal wall with prolonged leakage of clear serous fluid.
