Professor Gilbert Aich (Paris) is the founder of the French Association for Nose Surgery and a world leader and founder of modern nose surgery. With him, Dr. Aleksandar Dušanović has been working continuously for more than 11 years, thus acquiring the most up-to-date knowledge and experience in the field of nose surgery.

Schools

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1987 in a record time (1982-1987) with an excellent average grade.
He was elected to the position of assistant at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 1988. This makes him one of the youngest assistants in this subject. That’s when he started writing his master’s thesis in the field of surgical anatomy and enrolled in a specialization in general surgery, which he started at the Clinical Center of Serbia at the Clinic for Digestive Diseases, in the department of academician Prof. Radoje Čolović and academician Prof. Zoran Gerzić, eminent Yugoslav surgeons.
After his internship in general surgery, he passed the specialist exam with an excellent grade in September 1993 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade.
He passed the specialist exam in plastic and reconstructive surgery with excellent results in 1997 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade. He successfully completed the training of many leading Serbian plastic surgeons, of whom Prof. Karapandzic and Prof. Perović, experts of world renown, are particularly important.
Master’s degree at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 1996, majoring in surgical anatomy. Previously, he passed all the exams provided by the post-graduate teaching program in surgical anatomy. In this way, he acquires the title of Master of Medical Sciences.
Within the surgical-traumatology department of the Zemun Clinical Hospital Center, he founded and organized, for the first time in the long history of this institution, a department for plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1997.
He founded one of the first private practices for cosmetic surgery in Belgrade, “011”, in 2000. This practice works successfully to this day.
Active knowledge of English and French and speaks Spanish, Italian and Russian.
